World Environment Day: KFC Plants 1,000 Trees at Masaita Forest

In commemoration of World Environment Day, Kenya Forestry College staff and students joined hands to plant over 1,000 indigenous tree seedlings at the Masaita Forest Block in Londiani. The event was graced by the College Principal, Mr. Francis Musyimi, who called on all Kenyans to take personal responsibility for protecting the environment. "Every tree we plant today is an investment in a greener Kenya tomorrow," he said. The exercise is part of the college's annual environmental stewardship programme and complements the academic training offered in the Diploma in Forestry and Environmental Management programmes.
