Governance

Institutional Framework

Kenya Forestry College operates under the Kenya Forest Service (KFS), a State Corporation under the Ministry of Environment, Climate Change and Forestry. The college is governed within the framework established by the Kenya Forest Service Act and the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Act.

The college is accredited and regulated by the Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) and certified by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA). These regulatory bodies ensure that KFC maintains the highest standards of technical and vocational training.

KFC is also registered with the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS), enabling government-sponsored students to access the college's programmes through the national placement system.
